Since Mercy & Close your eyes, two albums on hope and redemption that were critically acclaimed by the American press in the mid-1990's, we have heard nothing from Lisa Cerbone.

She's now back after more than 6 years with an album of strange and magical ballads produced by Mark Kozelek.. Accompanied by Tim Mooney from American Music Club (drums), Geoff Stanfield from Black Lab (bass) and Mister Kozelek himself playing guitar and singing, the sweet voice of Lisa is the perfect symbiosis between Kristin Hersh become slowly romantic and Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays.

With this album Mark Kozelek knew how to perfectly put itself in retreat and share with the singer the correctness and the subtlety of his arrangements. He signs a collaboration quite in half tint, provoking a sweet melancholy, an abyme of love.
